Keeps Stalling?
I have an 88 F-150 I-6 300, and I find that when slow dowm from highway speed for a stop light or someting, that my truck all of a sudden quits. Any suggestions on what could cause this?

Yeah, the truck stalls on short trips like 2 miles, and also longer trips of 50 miles. It has no problem starting right back up again, just really annoying tha it keeps stalling. There is no difference between hot or cold starts, whenever I slow down to a stop light from highway speeds. Hope this gives more details, and hopefully a helping hand for me.

The easiest thing to do first off is clean the Air Bypass Valve & see if that improves things . If its been awhile cleaned since it was last cleaned carbon can keep it closed when it should be open thus causing the engine to stall . Try that first .
