I have a 2016 6.2 4.30 and love it except for the mileage, but with diesel being 60 cents higher here in California the mileage issue is really moot. The tipping point for me was I had the opportunity to work with the local Marine base and Paramount Studios, both of these have gone to almost exclusively gas. I asked about that at both places and the answer was the same, maintenance costs and repairs made the gas more affordable. I also read a couple of articles on how big fleet dealers are going gas for the same reasons. Good enough for me. I'm about to retire and I needed a reliable low cost truck.

The irony is that both trucks are so good that making a choice is extremely difficult.
Love my new 6.7L really miss my old 6.2L.

After dealing with plugging in the '01 7.3 the past 16 winters, the slow warm ups when not plugged in and other things I opted for gas. Don't tow enough to justify diesel, maintenance costs are lower and that 6.2 sounds pretty good to boot. I like.

Towing 6 or 7 times year 8,000 lbs travel trailer. May move to a max 10,000 lb 5th wheel, mid-profile. Gas will be sufficient. Retired now, just drive to coffee shop daily. All the truckers park in a row. Guess which one is the tallest. F250 3.73 Lariat CCSB. Camper pkg. FX4. Caribou. ( still like the colour)

6.7 for me. I tow every day but not that much and after owning my 7.3 forever which I still use daily and owning a 2013 6.7 I wanted to stay with the 6.7 in my 2017 Superduty because nothing tows like a diesel.

6.2 for me. Had a Ram 6.7 for the last 5 years. Don't need it anymore and the warranty was about to expire. It was a great truck for work and towing.

Itdidnt matter if it was a 6.2 or 6.7. But it was a killer deal on my 17 6.7, I brought it for the options it had! It pretty much had everything I wanted when I did the pipe dream build on the ford website, and didn't have to wait for a truck to be built and shipped!
First time diesel owner here and it got down to 0-4* and windchill of - 15-25* and the truck started right up now granted it is brand new .
But couple years with older battery's might not start as easy

Diesel bc I wanted it. Yes they will probably cost you money in repair bills. I have a 6.0 Excursion and it cost me plenty.

The 450 doesn't come with a gas option and the gas motor simply doesn't have enough power for what I will be hauling around.
But I have had 2 V10 trucks and they were very satisfactory for my needs at the time.

They come with the v10, but you have to get a chassis cab 450.

6.2 CCSB FX4 with 4.30 gears.... love it. Pull about 10,000 lbs frequently and does it quite well.

6.7 here, I tow a 5th wheel about 7-8 times a year. I also tow my boat and an enclosed trailer with my ATV.

My first super duty was an 03 6.8 v10 gasser, I upgraded to the 6.4 and eventually to the 6.7.

For me personally, once you go diesel, it’s hard to go back to gas, especially if towing heavy.

As a 6.2 owner I am actually surprised that over 40% own gassers. I was expecting that to be much lower.
