I'm not sure if this counts, but for what it's worth, I designed the bed to be able to be leveled by screwing in some long all threads at any 3 corners. (basically making adjustable legs)
Would the bed mounts work for these old bumps carrying a 2000 - 3000 lbs cab-over camper? I'm thinking of going this route when I get mine roadworthy again.

Those look to be the stake in type that my Father and grandfather used on thier 68 and 74 chev 3/4 ton. They worked back then , the only complaint my father had was sway at highway speed which at the time was 55 so im not sure how it would work today at 65-70 speeds. I am pretty sure the Camper used back in the late 60's early 70's which was an Open Road brand and was probably around 2 thousand pounds . not much over that i think .

Here's pics of Dad's 1976 (now sold :-( ) with and without the same Dreamer camper on it as in post #5 on the crew cab.

I love that combo. Those pocket tiedowns seemed to work fine back in the day, i guess the campers just got to heavy as time went on. Wish i could find some pics of my grandfather's 68 chev 4x4 with his open road camper on the back. My dad bought a new 74 chev and put the camper on it back in the day when my grandfather decided to go with a 5th wheel .
