2006. 6.0 low icp psi at above driving normal range
hey I am new to this forum & semi new to the diesel world. I have a 2006 ccsb king ranch. Obviously the beloved 6.0 powerstroke. Just put new injectors in it probably 1,500 miles ago, now I am getting low icp psi, the psi at idle & driving around normal are both fine. But when I’m on the throttle pretty hard or when the truck down shifts & takes off the psi only goes between 1,600-2,000 instead of the normal 3,500-3,800 psi. Truck is not at a lack of power and it starts right up whether it’s hot or cold. Am I experiencing hpop issues or just the icp sensor is bad? Any help or ideas is appreciated. Thanks!

Haven’t hooked it to an actual scanner yet, using a sct live wire tuner with xtreme street tune from innovative diesel. I’m watching my icp psi, I guess it’s just straight psi not converted from anything. I’m letting my uncle hook it up to his computer Saturday. He is a diesel mechanic at a ford dealership close by & has his own business on the side repairing diesels. Just wanted to see if I could maybe get an idea of what I’m going to be looking at before he looks at it

First thing to do is flash it back to stock and verify the concern. Tunes can have some weird seeming mappings to get what the writer wanted, so it's not always a concern to see unusual readings. If you flash it back to stock and it persists you've ruled out a coding issue. If you haven't reflashed it with the new injectors or the old ones had some really ragged out spool valves or nozzles it might just be a sign that the pressure doesn't need to be as high to get the correct pulse width.
Does the haze happen when it's warm out, or is this new with the ICP issue? This could just be you had a dead stick before you replaced all of the injectors and now that the FICM isn't compensating for one dropping out your truck is back to normal fueling and it's just not burning it all when it's cold out. It was 10* here this morning, mine put out a nice haze at idle until I was on the highway.
