1st Drive Video!
Hi FTE crew:
I promised to post a video once I finally got my project on the the road. My project fell into 2 phases: the part I was working and the part I was paying. I managed to do all the work through the rolling chassis and drive train. I outsourced the body work, paint and final assembly. For anyone in the SF Bay Area, I can't say enough good words about South City Rod & Custom. Bill Ganahl comes from a car family and runs an amazing operation: South City Rod and Custom
For anyone who wants to see the build thread: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...t-day-0-a.html
And for the video:
I thought it would be fun to share a bit of the day and the excitement of going to pick up the truck. Hopefully the first minute doesn't bore you but you can skip it

Hi! I got the lion's share of parts from MidFifty, but saw the mirrors on the Mac's website and thought they best matched the originals.

Congratulations on the First Drive!
Been following your build since its start so it is really nice to see your first drive went off so well.
I'm sure your son is going to to become heir to a very nice ride, special bond there.
Now you get to enjoy all the labour and money expended. A beautifull truck with a new life!

I too have enjoyed following your build! You didn't seem to cut any corners (or spare any expense), and ended up with a beautiful restoration of your grandfather's truck. I wonder what he would think of the headers and duel carbs? I'm interested, BTW how your "Clifford" modifications work out for you.
I hope your family enjoys your truck for many years to come. Thanks for sharing.
