Wiper Motor Problems?
Hi,
I'm having wiper problems with an '89 F150 with intermittent wipers. I'm not sure whether the problem lies in the wiper motor or the multifunction switch.
Can anyone provide information regarding the pin-outs on the multifunction switch or the wiring harness for the wiper motor? I'd like to diagnose whether the problem lies in the motor or the switch so that I don't end up buying the wrong parts.
Optimally, I'd like to know where to apply a 12V signal to test the motor, or where to test for voltage being passed by the switch. Any helpful advice or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated!

Wiper Motor Problems?
I had a similar problem on my 93 F150. Tried to trouble shoot
like you want to. Ended up taking it to the dealer. There is
a ECM box controling the wipers, that was bad. Found that out after replacing the switch for $70. Good luck.
