2015.. 2017..oh the dilemma.
We're looking at two trucks. A 2015 and a 2017, both are crew cab Lariat 4x4s.I like the '15 and my wife likes the' 17. I'm not a big fan of the 17s, way too narrow in my book to carry the Superduty name. Any thoughts here? Any pros /cons with either. The 17 is new, the 15 is like new with only 24xxx miles. Thoughts??

Let her buy what she wants and you buy what you want. Like that will work. LOL
Who will be driving it? It seems reasonable (going out on a limb here) that the person driving the truck and making payments should choose the one they want. Personally, I would go for the 15 unless price was close.

Yes.. My world... Happy Wife Happy Life. It's going to be her daily driver. A while back we bought a new Impala. It's very nice but I'm 6'3 270 and I struggle to get in and out of it so that's what we're replacing. I'm keeping the Mule ('99 crew cab 7.3). It's not going anywhere. But we're traveling little more and of course the Mule is old and loud and getting older. It's in good shape and very trustworthy but we just need more comfort.. Lol.. We're getting older too. We tow a 38' travel trailer so I know either will do the job.

WB is slightly longer on ‘17 with box frame. Rear crew cab slightly longer, 4” I think. I chose a 16 over 17 as didn’t like the looks of the aluminum at the time...
Are they the same in terms of options outside of lariat package? Switches alternator, rapid heat, rear heated seats, goose/5th wheel prep, block heater?
I did drive a ‘17, first part I noticed was the heated/cooled seat recall, no need to turn on every time, if they were on with key off, on with key on. Panaramic moon roof was cool as well

I agree with everyone, buy the 17 or an 18.
I do love my 15 though and have not yet warmed to the looks of a 17/18 yet. To my eye, the new truck looks so average. Designed by committee. Very safe design but nothing that you have to own. I have yet to look at one on the dealer's lot and thought, this is awesome.
Lots of great technical stuff though and the new truck is a beast. If I had to buy a 15 or 17/18, I would wince some and make it happen.
