Fordpass Stuck
trying to get fordpass to work on the truck. I plug it in and it recognizes it.. but just gets stuck on the screen and says please wait while we gather some information.. I let it sit 30 minuets.. only thing on the menu is find dealer and some other thing.. but nothing else comes up..

You could probably re-title this Ford Pass Sucks and you wouldn't get too many arguments. I never use mine, vehicle health report is a pain, I have never been able to get it to work- other than that I don't need an ap to tell me how much fuel I have in the truck or how much warranty I have left.

With Ford's Ford Pass or one you paid for?

Had it for a year on my 17 Raptor, never paid for it. Used the Ford Pass app once sync'd to the vehicle. But I cant get this 18MY F350 to sync.

Yes from what I have heard it works well on F150's and other applications but doesn't provide that same functionality on Super Duties. As far as I know vehicle health (if you can get it to work) is about as good as it gets other than that it has pretty basic stuff, not much you can't get from looking at the gauges.

yep have it on the android phone. shows up on sync then disappears oddly

Further, the FordPass app with this vehicle isn't as robust as when used with vehicles that have the built in modem (e.g., 2018 F150, some Escapes and some Fusions).
The upcoming Smartlink add on will give more useful info for our larger trucks (same as the current SynConnect vehicles listed above).
