Leaky headlight

My 89 F250 had a leaky headlight. It looks like the lens has started to seperate from the reflector because the glue is failing. Has anyone else had this problem?

I'm assuming that I can probably just reglue the lens with something but I have no idea what to use.

I'd live with it execpt for the fact that the water that gets in keeps killing my headlight bulb!

Thanks

Chris

I would say you could use clear RTV silicone. Then lay it between something to keep the lense tight against the housing while its curing.

I'd say replace the headlight.

If the lenses is not all milky inside, try the re-sealing first. A tube of silicone costs no where close to one of those composite light housing's.

I think I'll try to pop the lens off and silicone it back on next time I have the chance.
