had to get a new oil pan installed 2 weeks ago. went to check oil level this eve. and couldnt get dipstick out!! Wiggled and turned it but it's stuck...now when I start it, it sounds like a stick in the spokes of a bike.
a)what did the #$@!!*mechanic do wrong?
b)is there any chance of twisting it around to make it driveable thru the weekend?
LAST EDITED ON 22-Oct-01 AT 01:09 AM (EST)[p]It sounds like the dipstick is pushed up against the oilpump, and distributor, both are connected on the same driveshaft.(oilpump, not oilpan)
