well, just sold my current truck and the buyer is picking it up on friday. Hopefully the 6-8 weeks they told me it was going to take is more like 3-5 weeks!
I ordered my King Ranch on 15 Nov. I was told to allow up to as long as 10 weeks for delivery, though it would probably be less.
I checked last week and was told ETA end of Feb. That will be 16 weeks if I get it then.
Too long a wait in my opinion. Had I known that I would not have ordered it.
I do not blame the dealer as he doesn't make his money until I take delivery. Meanwhile my trade in is losing value but the trade-in value is firmly set.
I would like to cancel the order, but I made a verbal commitment and I do not go back on my word. The dealer made no promise, just expectations.
I reckon those new trucks are pretty popular.
If you order it with sync 3 it can be enabled in forscan. There is a cost for the rear harness and the tailgate harness and camera. You would then have to custom mount it into your bed. It runs about 230.00 for the parts. I just finished a 550 at work about 4 months back and thats the way I did it. I ordered the parts for a f450 pickup and mounted them in a stahl flatbed above the license plate. However the guidelines displayed on screen aftet install are not accurate in the display so just turn them off.

3 weeks and 3 days from taking ownership and 3 times stranded:
1. blown off transmission cooler line on I-81 in TN, 1079 miles on the truck
2. failed to start in my driveway despite having more than 1/4 tank of gas (Fords response, truck gas gauge lies and you cant park on a 3 degree grade??)
3. noises coming from transmission like grinding and whistling 2980 miles on the truck
4. "Open end Wrench" service vehicle light on, flat bedded away.... 3000 miles on the truck
It looks great but WOW what a major mechanical disappointment. I have personally owned; 2003 Dodge Minivan Used, 2005 Chevy Suburban Used, 2005 Ram 2500 Diesel used, 2010 Chevy Suburban New, 2013 Ram 1500 New (trans at 30k), 2014 Ram 1500 (trans at 57k), 2018 Ford F-150 above. Despite the 1500 Ram's having a transmission flaw apparently (I tow once a year to NY 4 hrs with a single axle 19.5 Bayliner so its not from abuse) None of the vehicles listed above ever left me stranded like this NEW 2018 Ford..... I am in total shock. All of my other vehicles including the Ram's never left me on the side of a road or were on a flatbed ever....
Got my VIN from the dealer, Cotus site says delivery date is April 5 which is exactly 3 months from order date. I don't mind at all, gives me more time to save a bigger down payment. Hopefully get better incentives as well.
