Missing Under seat storage?
Hi everyone. On Monday I purchased my first truck. It is a 2017 F350 XL CCLB. I am loving the truck and getting used to the size.
Should all these trucks have the folding under seat storage in the back of the cab? It doesn’t look like mine does unless they installed the vinyl floor over it. I thought all of them came with it and didn’t bother to check while purchasing the truck.

That was my first thought also. That I may have overlooked it. I went out earlier today to check it quickly and still couldn’t find it. It was cold so I didn’t take too much time. I’ll look again tomorrow!

Hmm yeah that might explain it. But the first truck I was originally looking at was an F250 XL and when the sales guy was showing me it, that truck did have it. Maybe it’s part of an appearance package or other option?

Husky liners offers their version of the storage compartment. Mine came with the factory folding version, so I haven't researched it. Worth looking in to. I've used several Husky products and have been happy with them.

My XL didn't have it. I now have the husky version and while it didn't install exactly like the instructions it is secure and of good quality,

I had one in my King Ranch I pulled out. I put in a Tuffy Security Locking box. I love it.

I am looking for the factory fold flat box as my truck didn't come with one, as I have the carpet delete. The dealer was amazing I didn't have one, asked me to come back so they could show it to me, and all looked in amazement when I didn't have one, Now they want $470 for one. If anyone has one, I would buy it and you could ship it my way? Thanks.

My 2017 XLT F250 with vinyl floor didn't have the underseat storage either. I missed the storage enough to put a tool box in the bed to carry all my "stuff", but now that I've done that, it's awfully nice to keep the rear seats folded up most of the time and have all that nice, flat floor for hauling things you want to keep out of the weather.
