I checked the door jam sticker from the conversion company and it states "235x75xr15". That makes no sense because I don't think there is an 8 lug 15in wheel. Looking online indicates that it is 245x75x16 like I have currently. Can anyone check their E350's jam and see what it has listed?
Just went 242.2 miles and it was 15.77mpg. We'll see if this holds up. I did have an episode where for a few seconds it lost power and started missing real bad and black smoke was billowing out of it, but then it cleared up. I filled the tank back up at that point since it was low anyways and it hasn't happened since. I'm not sure if it's related somehow.
Have you done the Hutch mod to the tank? Have you cleaned your tank? It sounds like maybe you have debris in the bottom of the tank and when it gets low enough, it is getting "sucked" to the in-tank screen.

Or the pickup foot is broken off and low on the gauge means your out
The previous owner kept every receipt so I have a folder about an inch thick. I did see in there that the tank was replaced. The delamination issue was with all diesel tanks right? Mine has the rear tank behind the axle. The gauge currently is stuck at full. I've read on here that a couple guys had an issue with the float getting stuck on the wires so I'm hoping that's it. I have not had a chance to look at the tank. That will have to wait until spring.
Try turning the key on and off a few times and see if the gas gauge starts reading right.
Mine would stick on full even after I did the Hutch Mod. Turned out to be switch on the underside of the column. I replaced it with a good used one and haven't had a problem with the gauge since.
