Rear view mirror
I just bought an '03 4x2 crew cab lariat and love it so far (1,500mi). This is a minor complaint by my $40K truck came with $5.00 rear view mirror from the 70's.
Were there options to have a mirror with auto dim and/or map lights that wire into the console?
Has anyone wired in an aftermarket mirror? Maybe I'm being picky but I was used to the mirror in my Expedition.

There are a few out there "*******************.com" has one for $240 with compass, temperture, map lights and auto dimming.

I would like one of these too but have had trouble finding them. I'm mostly interested in the auto dim feature. Even just one out of an excursion would do. I also have been looking for new sun visors. I like the ones in our excursion but don't know if they will fit where my existing cheapos do?

Right, I got a cheap o rear view on my xlt. I would like to find one from an Ex as I think that it will mount the same. The autodim is what I really want. Comp and temp are a bonus but not required. I really want one that I don't have to screw with the mount on the windshield just take down the old one and put up the new one and wire up.
