Sorry guys, I know it's been asked many times. But I'm having issues with figuring out the year of this engine. I was told it was a 302. Thanks for any help.
E0AE is an 80-84 block. And it's a turd. Very thin everywhere. The lightweight among 302 blocks at 120 lbs. Not something you want to hot rod. Or do any improvements to.
Well that sucks. I paid $200 for the complete engine for a '69 F100 build. I don't plan on going much more than stock.
Wait, it gets better ! The early 50 oz/in cranks in these were notorious for breaking too ! And not while hotrodding either ! I'd go ask for my money back, about all you got was a set of rods there, and those only after you change the bolts to ARP's.
