Started removing things from the interior to get at the wiring . Will have to look to see if I can find a source for the connectors that are on some of the plugs Dakota Digital uses on their plugs so I can shorten some of the wiring harnesses and Vintage Air as well. Might have to contact them ...

 

They should have them I would think. Or search for the plug ends to match.

 

I have to pull some of them apart to see what I'm up against. I don't want to cut a section out and crimp the wires back together which would likely cause more problems down the road..

 

Don't crimp, cut strip heat shrink on wire and the solder. No problems!

 

I'd rather get the same pin connectors for the plugs and shorten the wires. I never do a good job at soldering for some reason...

 

I was lucky and grew up doing it with things dad was working on.

 

I have a pile of scrap wire I should practice on I suppose but I'd rather be busy doing something else...lol

 

I too am easily distracted! LOL

 

You should see the mess I have in my shop right now...lol. I made the patches to put in my inner fenders I have to repair but have to get the steering all hooked up so I'll be able to move the panel outside so I can paint them in the shop. Then there is something else that needs to be done before I can do the first thing I wanted to do. I'll be at this for awhile...lol
