Map Pockets

My 75 came with what I believe are original Ford map pockets, of course they were in poor shape so I looked for replacements with no luck so I decided to make my own. As I got started I thought others may be interested in a kit that includes both drivers and passenger door map pockets and a drill jig template to make the install easy.
Currently I can only offer Black vinyl but if someone is interested they could send me the color vinyl that matches their truck, need 1 yard of material.
$100 set, shipping not included
I have received good and valuable information from this group and thought I would seek some input on desirability.
Thank you for your time!

I'll take a pair just like those! How much total to ship to NC 27106?

I'm interested in a set. Do they fit in the factory holes of the door or do you have to drill new holes? Assume they attach with the factory style push plugs?

Scott79 I sent a pm but yes they use the push style plugs and I used the factory holes based on my truck, not sure they are all the same. Thanks for your interest.

Since you are so crafty, maybe you can make some vinyl overlay pieces for the upper part of the door panel? For sure NOT reproduced by vendor.

If so I bet Mark (Twister324) wants a set.

Best places to sale your stuff. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum231/

77&79F250,
Thanks, I'll get this posted in the Marketplace section. I've thought about doing those also but that may test the limits of my "Crafty" skills but would definitely fill a void... I'll keep you posted.

I'd bet if you could at least work out a solid color, you would have some business. I think I can get you an old overlay panel I have laying around to have an OEM pattern.

I figured that the "market place" would have extra shoppers traffic for ya.

I didn't receive a PM from you...? IIRC there were 6 factory holes, 2 on the top edge, 2 at each end, and 2 at the bottom. Send me a PM when you get a chance! thx

I purchased a set of the black vinyl for one of my trucks. They look very nice, clean and straight. I have already installed them and will get a pic posted soon. If anyone is looking for map pockets for their doors, you need to consider these! "77 short box" was great to work with, easy transaction!! Better get a set while he is still making them!! Thanks John, now start making the door panel inserts! Haha

Out of curiosity, what did you use for the backing material? Mine are also in poor shape, as are the rear panels in my Bronco. I want to make new panels, but I'm not sure what material to use except I know I don't want diamond plate or anything like that.

I use a hardboard material similar to the stock units.
