2013 E350, audio control module?

2013 E350, audio control module?
Is the Audio Control Module what we would typically refer to as the radio? I googled it, couldn't find anything on the E350 but in the Escape they say it's the thing with the CD slot.
Here's the story, fall of 2016 had a minor rear end accident. All they had to do was replace my bumper and buff out some scratches. For some reason the radio stopped working. They replaced the radio fuse and it worked fine for a few months. This summer the fuse starting blowing again. Fall of 2017 my wife hit a deer and had a significant amount of damage to the front passenger side. Got the van back from the shop and found something was draining the battery. Sent it back and they're saying its the Audio Control Module, fuse 39. For now the fuse is pulled and they're saying to replace the radio.
We didn't have any radio issues before being rear ended. We didn't have a battery draw issue before the deer hit.
