I welded the holes up that mine were held with. If I were to have kept them I would clear silicone between them and the rocker. They would never give issue. I just have other plans...trans, I don't blame you one bit at that price point the trans needs to have some assurance other than stock.

I hear ya, my white 97 had them with no issues ether. Its just that I believe if nerf bars, side steps, etc are installed on a truck they should originate from the frame not the body, thats just butchering an otherwise nice vehicle with a ****ty design. + its a truck, 99% of whats out there is pansy *** stuff; I like components that can take a beating..,

I’m actually entertaining the notion of a 6.7 but I’m so picky about what I want and **** about the condition/configuration and color that even finding the right one of those proves difficult.

Wow Corey! Your blowing me away and I'm sure a lot of others too. Tell your friend to find his own truck or shop for a new one. Its obvious that no one on here is going to find anything for you and I'm sure they are starting to feel like they are wasting their time. Life is too short for this kind of behavior. If I'm pissing you off or anybody else so be it. This is my last post, good luck!

Well good thing its only a truck Glenn. Glad it’s not something more inportant in life. I’ll apologize if I’m ruffling anyones feathers. I kinda think its fun to look for trucks every once in a while. My buddy has got a handfull of cash as of today for me but I dont have anything to pull the trigger on so for the time being OBS is my religion.
