5th Wheel Slider Hitches
I have a 2000, F-250, 7.3 Diesel, super cab, short bed. Do any of you pull a 5th wheel and use a slider hitch?
I want to know if it's really necessary to have a hitch box extention with the slider hitch. Also, I'm looking at the Valley/Huskey 16K with slider as well as the Drawtite 16K with slider. If you have one of these and know the amount of slide achieved with the slide backward movement, I'd like to know what you get with yours. Any problems with tight turns? How tight can you turn?
My 5th wheel is a Carriage 32 foot.
