Ford seriously out did themselves with this truck! I will not post weights but the hay load/forklift was a tad much! Reluctantly coming out of a 7.3 for this truck I am more than impressed! I can only hope reliability is half as good as my 7.3 was. She's got 84,000 miles today at 16 months old and has never let me down. Starting to look at F450's which I think will be better suited for my needs overall.
These Super Duty's just eat up work. That's what they're designed to do. Especially the 6.7.
Thirty two foot bumper pulls can get kind of long at times...
We used to bumper-tow an Arctic Fox 32 with a Ram 3500 QCLB SRW (Cummins 5.9/24). Needed a Hensley Arrow hitch to tame the beast, but once that was installed it towed very well. The only real headache was finding gas stations where you could get in and out without unhitching. Nobody ever thinks about truck/trailer combos in the 55 foot range when they design their pump islands!
