Now and then

Not a complete comparison as one is a 250 4x4, the other a 350 2wd, but we sold the 350 today, had it 14 years and I'm a little bit sentimental, my mom and I were reminiscing stories that happened while we were traveling to horse shows, may have caused my eyes to well up with tears a little.

But a lot has changed in that timeframe.

So, out of curiosity. How do the payload and towing capacities stack up?

Payload, the 10,000 WR i suspect will still hold it back, but I'd be interest to see how the towing numbers stack up.

The 350 was rated to tow 13,000LBS in manual or auto configuration with a GCWR of 20,000LBS. I'm assuming it's a late 99-2000 due to the badging and lack of fog lights.

The new 250 is anywhere from 14,100-14,700 depending on how it was ordered.

like. I'm on the fence of upgrading from a 2003 F250/7.3 to an 18 or 19 F350/6.2
