Ever since I got my '97,350, PSD. two years ago, heater air would blow from all the vents when I used the "vent" position. Yesterday it would only blow cold air from the defroster vent...It doesn't help much when it's 105* outside.. Anyone have a suggestion of where I should start...................Thanks.
I took your advice and removed the glove box to get at the switches etc... All the "garbage" and no way to get to anything was quite depressing. Then I thought of my John Deere tractor that the squirrels had chewed through the fuel return line fron an injector..Sure enough, the buggers chewed a 1/4" hole in the vacuum hose under the hood...We buy 20# of peanuts at a time for these critters and still, "I don't get no respect"...Maybe me and Mr. Winchester should have a serious talk with the little devils...
I throw lead their way. Who cares if they are happy.
Do a search for AC mods and you will find that the "heat" that comes out of your vent when on "VENT" setting can be fixed for about $20. It will then blow true outside air temp when on VENT setting.
