Question Ranchos

I read alot about these Rancho 9000 shocks and how they are adjustable- WHat does the adjustment do?? Does it raise or stiffen height? also anyone install Hellwig Helper springs on a SUperduty?? Is it difficult?

I have the Rancho 9000s .

The adjustment adjusts the amount of rebound and compression you get out of the shock....but it adjusts them at the same rate so when I get the compression where I like it, I don't like the rebound and when I like the rebound I don't like the compression. Does not effect ride height.

I like the Bilstein 5100s and I've heard good things about the Edlebrock shocks as well........some info on each if you run a search up in the Super Duty forum.

Hope this helps.

The adjustment changes the stiffness of the shock. I've got these on the front of my 4WD F350 and I like 'em. Will probably put these on the rear as well PLUS the in-cab remote control.
