parking brake
1956 F100. Can anyone shoot me a picture of a STOCK parking brake lever/handle in a truck? I guess it doesn't have to even be in the truck now that I think about it. My second question is about the cables........From looking online it appears that the rear parking brake cable is the same length on both long and short bed trucks. It appears the difference is made up in the length of the front cable. Am I wrong.......AGAIN

Well I have no experience with a '56 but in the '48 - '50 F1's, your assumption is correct regarding the length of the cables. The rear cables are the same on the F1's and the F2's with the front cable being longer on the F2's.
