Correct throttle stud
1. What is the correct Holley P/N to re-attach the throttle? Holley lists P/N 20-37, 20-38, and 20-39, but no explanation of application.
2. I purchased the 20-91 kickdown kit, but it came with no instructions for installation. The kickdown rod connected fine to the linkage that came with the carb. Did I really need this kit, and if so, how do I install it?
3. Do I need the universal throttle solenoid (Holley P/N 46-74)? The old carb had a solenoid, which was energized when the A/C comprressor was switched on.
Thanks a bunch!
#2 If the carb already had the correct lever on the linkage and all hooked up well, then return the kit. Not all carbs have the kickdown lever on them from the factory.
#1 The carb didn' t come with one? They usually have a small parts bag that includes the air cleaner stud, breather gasket and the ball studs.
Anyway, I believe that it is the 20-37 7/32".

I will order the 20-37. The plastic bag had new carb hold-down studs and nuts, but no other hardware. I will orde the 20-37 today.
The A/C still works, so I will also order the solenoid. As you indicated previously, the vacuum hose diameters are different than the original carb, so I need to work that out.
There are two vaccum pipes that come up from the intake manifold on the passenger side. What are these for?
