It would have been 100 pounds higher. I did the same thing with my F350 because here in California that extra hundred pounds triggers a $300 per year increase in registration fees. Anything above 11,499 costs more. So by downgrading it from 11,500 to 11,400 you can use a "pickup truck exclusion" and save some $$$. Also keeps you from being technically required to stop at every weight station.

My F250 window sticker has that too. I didn't ask for it so maybe it's standard.
The Payload Downgrade package can be ordered by either the dealer or on a special order truck by selecting the appropriate option. The standard GVWR on an F250 is 10,000 lbs and the downgrade is available to 9900 lbs for the same reason to avoid registration fees in certain states. No physical or mechanical difference at all. Just a lower payload sticker amount.

wow.... things are so different there. Here if you have a 3500 you pay less in taxes because they assume it’s a work truck.
Congratulations on the new truck. The color looks amazing. I was thrilled to find out about Stone Gray, as I found Caribou just a bit too brown for my liking. I definitely see a bit of gray tones in the new color.
