1997 Explorer Keyless entry Question
I would like information and instructions on how to pogram ford alarm keyless remotes for 1997 explorer because there are something rare with it; I Can open my Ford Explorer with a 1996 Chevrolet tahoe keyless remote and with my remote I can't do it; I replace the keyless remote batery and it doesn't work.
I think my keyless remote is not programing.
Would you like to help me with my problem? or guide me to solve it.

1997 Explorer Keyless entry Question
Just did this with my wife's Taurus yesterday. Put the key in and turn it on off 8 times as fast as you can. Then push any button on the remote. Wait 20 seconds for the Explorer to go out of the program mode and it should work. Not sure if 8 is the right number but it does work.

Thanks Albert. I tried it before but it doesn't work. The keyless entry remote doesn't work but I can open my explorer with a Chevrolet Tahoe keyless remote.
I don't know where's the problem.

key ignition on and off until the locks jump then hit ANY button on the remote...like the other poerson said wait like 20 seconds to a min for the truck gto go out of program mode
