I have a 7th gen single cab f250 with the 6.9l. My question is did ford produce a 7th gen 4 door with the 6.9l option? I would love to get my hands on one. Thank you in advance.
Yep. Pretty sure most of them are f-350 trucks, and they are pretty uncommon.
Best bet to find one in your area would be to go on Craigslist, limit the years to 1984-86, limit it to diesel fuel type, and then search f350. If you're lucky one will pop up. If you're really lucky it'll be in decent condition..
Jimmy, when I bought my 86 f250 sclb with a 6.9L IDI last summer I searched HI and LO for a crew cab. I only ever saw 1 Bullnose crew cab near Little Rock, AK. It was a project and had a gas engine.
I saw a few Bricknose crew cabs with a diesel engine. One was in Montana, one in Corpus Christi, TX and one in Alabama.
Good luck with your search. Let us know if you find one.
