I'm going with the TYMAR instead, because it seems these "other" kits are never available for "early" '99 F350 PSDs. Got back from deployment a month ago myself. In the thick of aftermarket upgrades right now

TBS, yes, and K&N FIPK II, and Gibson exhaust. There is some contraversy as to whether or not these items really do anything. I recommend doing your home work before putting down the cash - and I don't mean reading the manufacturers ads.

Honestly, if I knew then what I know now I probably wouldn't have bothered with any of it. I think the money could have been better spent on any number of things - sound system upgrades, tires, wheels, window tint, towing mirrors, seat covers etc...

Don't get me wrong, I'm going to take this stuff off my truck, I just probably won't be doing these upgrades on any future trucks I might own. The "cost / benefit" analysis just doesn't bare out in favor of the upgrades.
