Unhappy Ignition switch?

My B2 has been acting up latley and has me stumped. I plan to pull codes this weekend, and I have purchaced a Haynes manual and am awaiting its arrival. But the problem is it is not starting every time and has weak spark when it does not start, and good spark when it does start. Now here is the real head scratcher It will start if I hit the steering wheel, this started a fluke brought on by frusteration of not starting. It will turn over every time but will not get a strong spark unless I hit the steering wheel. is there any thing in the ignition switch that could cause this, if so great, it is a cheap fix if not what else might I look for

Thanks!

Ignition switch?

Oh Yeah, the coil has been tested to be good, the distributor cap is new, the plugs are new and the plug wires are less than a year old. The starter was replaced this month, and the key ignition will start the truck with out the key sometimes. If that helps any.
