I just performed a KOEO test on my 1988 ford 5.0. I recieved the error code of 85 when testing the continuous memory. My book says that it is a "Canister Purge Circuit Error". What is this and how do I fix it????
PS I just completed the Mass Air Conversion yesterday and installed the new computer. The instructions also said that I had to disconnect the MAP sensor line and plug the intake hole. The MAP sensor is left open to the atmosphere.
Thank you all for your help through my project.....

Locate the charcoal cannister & follow its vacuum line until it connects to the canister purge valve , check that the vacuum lines to & from the valve are connected & that the purge valves electrical connection is secure . You may have disconnected its vac lines or electrical conection by accident while doing the Maf work .
