Welcome! Read the sticky threads at the top of this 67-72 section of the forum.

If you don't see what you're looking for try googling your question with "FTE" in the search. Most of the questions I have had over the years were already answered somewhere in this forum.

It's an old pickup. Just keep that in mind at all times. There's nothing that you "need to know" right off the bat. Just pickup info as you go along.

First thing I suggest is that you buy a chiltons manual for it. It can be a good guide to basic maintenance

The jack should be mounted under the hood next to the driver's side fender.

The jack crank should be hanging either behind the radiator core support of on the floor board behind the seat.

Welcome. That's a nice ranger trimmed 250 with a bed tool box. One thing though, I was looking at the hood and the 250 ornaments look like 67 only ones but the picture could be fooling me.

Good eye, they do appear to be 67 emblems, which would probably mean a hood replaced. 67 will not have the front edge trim and fount size on the script is smaller. Now we look closer for other collision damage in the front.

try some W-D40 on that arm. Just a squirt and wipe off the extra.

The hood emblem IS 67 and im pretty dawg gawn sure you never saw them on a 68.
the side trim is of the 70-72 era.
Good looking truck tho. Mine is a barrage of different year models.

1968/72 hood side emblems have yellow reflector lenses, 1967's do not.

.. Styleside Tailgate Hinge-Right/Left is the same / Obsolete

1964/66 F100/250 2WD; 1966 F100 4WD; 1967/72 F100/350.

Pic of Styleside bed, tailgate and attaching parts. Hinge shown as 43000:
