Merry Christmas Eve!
I hope everyone is doing well and ready for Christmas & the New Year.
It' been a long & stressful month here. It started out great with a small family reunion & trip to Magalia, California to visit my Uncle Don & his son Donnie(arrived to find out that Donnie was put in jail the day before), followed by a week of being sick with that stupid sinus infection that's going around. Just when I started feeling better, I received a call from a Social Worker. She stated that my Uncle referred me & asked if I'd be interested in a job as a home healthcare provider. WOOHOO! I thought...yes, finally a job after 3 yrs of being unemployed! So, after she explained everything, I discussed the job with Jimmy & Kaedon. They're excited for me & we definitely NEED the money. The major downfall to it... it's a live-in caregiver position & although Jimmy & Kaedon could come with me, they wont. So, now I'm torn.... do I stay here with my family or except this new job?!
**Here's the kicker**
I'd be staying with & caring for my Uncle in California 4-5 days week, then coming home on the weekends.
UGH...let the stress begin!!! I have to be there for my Uncle & yet I worry about my marriage.
I don't have a choice - no one else in the family will step up to the plate.
Too much to deal with & so little time! I just have to keep positive & remeber that I will see Jimmy & Kaedon on the weekends. On the plus side, atleast I can bring 1 or 2 of my dogs with me if I want so I won't be so home sick.
I have to be there on or before January 1st to start work. I CAN DO THIS.
I AM WOMAN... HEAR ME ROAR!!! (meow) Lol
I figured out why no two knee replacements ever go the same. The reason is you forget the hardest & most painful parts of the first recovery. I go whining around about my knee & the wife if she has said it once she has said it a thousand times. You complained about that with the first knee.
So two points I'm can't remember & I'm a cry baby. LOL.
