You never asked what I thought was exotic Rick, certainly not oak or walnut. I'm more thinking in lines of African Padauk, Bubinga ,Purpleheart Ebony that I have on hand. Anything I don't have can be bought here in Ontario...I do have oak and walnut in my stash too and 1000 board feet of ash I milled years ago. So don't think I'd shlt or fall over...

John, those are exotic woods and too expensive for my taste. Oak, walnut, and ash are native but the emerald ash bore has devastated the ash trees to the point that the City and State are clear cutting them. Won't be long before ash becomes exotic.
