So we're at the brink of the remaining games to decide the Final Four teams. In advance of the Big10 championship game in Indy, I'm putting out a request to any FTEer in the area. Just looking for you to ensure that any Buckeyes are offered excessive liquor, conflicts with signifcant others, and meaningless hotel fire alarms on Friday night. All in the spirit of good clean, non-SEC salary cap college competition.

That is what Chicago fans used to do to the Packers in the 60s. Green Bay would stay at a Holiday inn in Hillside about 15 miles west of Chicago to get some sleep. I’m a die hard Packer fan But grew up in the era of Woody and Bo and lived in Illinois I have to say GO Buckeyes! Should be a good game.

 

I'm hoping that UW puts up a better game than their last appearance against OSU. We've upgraded at coach, so fingers crossed.

Also, I didn't mean to overlook the fine FCS teams. Having enjoyed the extraordinary run of the Bisons of North Dakota State, perhaps James Madison is on the verge of their own back-to-back season. If you're looking for a western team to cheer on, consider Southern Utah. Go Thunderbirds!

Speaking of local college football.... Lock Haven University, a D-2 team, holds the nation's longest losing streak at 52 games, from November 10, 2007 to November 10, 2012. They have won only 13 games in the 5 years since then.
