I bought a used frm replaced mtr and now it has the scanner telling me it doesn't recognize the key, grrr. What am I gonna have to do to get new ones programmed.

Bad key for used 2004 lariat

Hello folks I have an 04 f150 that sat for 5 or 6 yrs and now the pats key isn't recognized. Bnhowvhards hards it gonna be to program new ones myself or do I need a ford scan tool. Y'alls help will be greatly appreciated by my wife. Thanks folks
