How to replace mirror lights?

Is there a how to on replacing the mirror lights? Does anyone know how to take the mirrors apart to do this?

I have some smoked lenses showing up today to replace the factory ones with. Thanks for the link and the help man. I searched for this but didn't see this thread. I'll post up some pictures later tonight of the new mirror lights.

im thinking about the Recon smoked mirror lens and cab lights. What brand are you getting? Let us know if you like them. Pics pls...THX

I ordered the Recon ones. They didn't show up yesterday though. Apparently they're going to ship by the end of the month since they're a new product. 150 Bucks, from watching the videos above it appears the factory ones are 135 a piece. So thats a win. The companies that do all the custom painting want 300-315 bucks to take them apart and paint them. For 150 I'll try these and go from there. I'm sure they will be fine. I've had a ton of Recon accessories on my trucks and they have always been ok. (Knocks on wood)

The Recon package that showed up was LED License Plate lights. They're great. Fit perfect and really light up the license plate at night.
