Good Evening FTE! I joined the forum a couple months ago, but didn't get around to posting in the "New Member Introductions".
Having spent several hours researching on this forum, I can tell this is a great one to be a part of (lots of good info and appears to be lots of good people). I look forward to learning more and, hopefully, be a more active member/poster than I have been on other forums.
Okay, so now for the reason I am here....my vehicles. The first one is a 1994 F-250 SCLB IDI Turbo Diesel - it has a Dana 60 front axle, 5-speed tranny, 6-inch lift, and runs on 37x13.5x17 Toyo Open Country MTs. The truck needs a little love, but it's in overall pretty darn good shape for its age. Best part about this truck though.....it's the wifes!!
I also own a 1994 F-350 CCLB IDI Turbo Diesel - it is a parts truck for the wifey's truck.
And for the main reason I came here...when I was a young kid, I wanted to own a brand new Ford pickup. I currently still drive the same little pickup that I drove in high school (which has been a few years ago now....) and decided it is time for an upgrade. So, last week I bit the bullet and ordered a brand new 2018 F-350 Super Duty. I spent months lurking on this forum trying to decide what I wanted to get; researching options, opinions, changing my mind one day to the next. But, I finally pulled the trigger and am now awaiting the day I get a phone call saying "it's here".
Well, I think that is enough of an introduction. But before I stop, I would like to thank you all for the great information on this site (which helped me make my decision for ordering a truck) and just say that I am glad to be part of the FTE community!!
