Now What Do I Do With It

I've looked but haven't found an answer to this: Have completed the rebuild of a 429, complete except for the carb. The truck needs some work done, mainly address surface rust and paint to frame and engine compartment. My question is, how best to store it until that time arrives? Thanks for any suggestions. Vic

Put a couple of teaspoons of oil in each cylinder and spin the engine once or twice to work it in. Other than that just cover it in plastic to help keep it clean.

I was not specific enough. Sorry. Can it just be laid down on the garage floor? Avoiding fuel pump and anything else that is likely to bend or break that is?

Yes, but I would put something under it like a scrap piece of plywood, just to keep it off the concrete floor.
