Unlocking Spare Tire
Has anyone had a bear of a time making the key unlock the spare tire lock? My intent is to move the tire to the bed secured under my tonneau. The lock won't budge and I'd hate to be on the side of an interstate fighting this thing.

Mine came out rather easily. You should also be able to access it from behind the bumper to get it to loosen a bit. It's just a plug basically.
I had a much harder time getting the darn tether to let loose of the tire.
