Magma Red
So does anybody have any idea what the new color Magma Red is?
I like my current Ruby Red, But I really don't want a darker color. So if the Magma Red is moving into the Burgandy shades. I'm not interested in that

the only thing you can do is go see it, no photos do it justice. Even the actual paint sample page at the dealer doesn't give the idea of what it does when painted in 3D.
It looks like black unless there's sunlight, then there's a crazy deep red metallic.

It`s much darker than Ruby Red and depending on what type of light is hitting it and from which angle, it can look very, very nice or just average
One clear advantage that it has over Ruby Red is, there is no up charge.

Local dealer has F150s in Magma red, he said "there it is", I said where?
Really dark, need good light (it was overcast) to see it, like a really really dark wine color.
Not for me, looks black when overcast.

I was looking forward to seeing Magma Red, hoping it would be a lot like the classic hot rod paint Black Cherry Metallic. It's very close... I happen to like it, and would definitely order it.

JK. There are two kinds of people in this thread: those excited about or proud of the Magma, and those who are ribbing people excited about the magma. I’ve liked every magma truck I’ve seen, and I’d gladly drive one. Yet I felt magnetic was a safer color. Cheers to the bolder here.

^^^ Exactly the way I feel. My last 3 trucks and the one on order are Magnetic. So is my new Nissan Leaf. Easy to keep clean
