Wheel Centers/Question??

I keep losing the rear center caps off of my 97 - F350 4x4 with aluminum rims, (non-dually) as these are very expensive through the dealer were can I buy substitutes, or is there a substitute. Also would the center caps off of the newer trucks fit on mine? the caps looks like a better design as they fit over the actual bolts, might hold them in better. Thanks.

Wheel Centers/Question??

Try using some of that blue thread locker on the bolts that hold them on and tighten the you know what out of them.

Wheel Centers/Question??

Thanks for the reply, the caps on my truck are a press on fit with no bolts, screws or whatever holding them on. There's a spring ring on the inside of the cap that presses against four plastic tabs that push onto four out of the eight lug nuts which holds everything in place. Not a very secure design. I'm assuming that in time the spring ring/tabs loosen up and off she comes!

Wheel Centers/Question??

Ooopps. Forgot that the 250's have different wheel setups than the 150's.

Sorry I couldn't help.
