So I have a 2013 F-250 with the 6.2L in it. It has roughly 125,000 on it. I have owned it for about a 6 months now and twice it has failed to start on me. The first time I waited a few hours tried again and it fired right up. The next time it wouldn't start for a couple days so I loaded it up and took it to the shop. Well, when I went to unload the truck it fired right up and has been starting ever since. I'm kinda leaning towards it being the fuel pump but is there a good way for me to test that before I throw one at it? I've also considered the cam position or crack position sensor but I don't know if they would be this sporadic.
Also after fueling up sometimes it rolls or stumbles to life instead of starting up quickly like normal.
You checked all of the starting related stuff first - battery, clean electrical connections etc? I ask because I would assume that a bad pump or filter would cause problems while it was running too, not just at start up.
If it had an open sensor circuit there would be stored codes correct?
If the crankshaft sensor is bad you won’t have any codes. And unless Ford is an odd-ball, a bad camshaft sensor or camshaft phaser will not prevent the car from starting.
I would go after the relays first. Starter Motor Relay and Run/Start Relay located in the BJB, don't discount a loose starter motor and corroded terminals...
To clarify the OPs problem is that the engine isnt firing. Its (cracking) err cranking or turning over fine. So the starter, battery, and associated circuits are fine.
This would lead me to look at spark and fuel.

That has relay written all over it. Works fine, then doesn't, then works fine...if it was a fuel issue it wouldn't work fine at all. 30 inch rule...
