rear window defroster

I have a 2013 ford f350 dually and had the rear window replaced. It has electric slide and defrost, when the guy replaced the window he didn't mark the wires for the defrost. Does the window care how the wires are hooked back up? I just don't want to short anything out. Thank you, Ken

I do not believe the rear defroster cares what direction the current runs, it has resistance built in to create heat.

My rear defrost and mirror defrost is not working either on this new to me truck. Living in MN I could use it. The slider works. Where are the wires you speak of? Thanks!
