One step forward and a dozen steps back.
Had it all painted and waiting for the first coat to flash I noticed some paint cracking/shriveling so I stopped. Found out the primer reacted to the paint in a bad way so I am now striping it all back down so I can start over. Hadnt put much time into it the past couple weeks because I was helping the wife prep for a trip to disney with the kids. This week Im home alone so Im trying to get as much done to the car as possible.

Most part well. Bit of a miss & stumble at various RPMs that turned out to be vac booster.
Don't like the way rail pressure drops to zero so quick, where as it used to stay constant for days.
Regulator or injectors I would guess.
Like to do some custom crimped wires. My FRPP wires are 11 years old & I've had to repair a couple of boots.
Then there's that box of JY mass air parts sitting there staring at me.
Then back to the dyno...

Custom wires are the best way to go, you can make them just the perfect length so you get the best look possible. If you pull the vacuum line off the regulator does it smell like gas? I know thats a sign of a bad diaphragm inside the regulator.

Not a good week.
Had to put down one of our felines.
21 year old, 3-leg cancer survivor. Sweet as all get out, tough as nails.
Went down hill fast with kidney failure.
Been with Terri longer than me & I've loved her like she was mine.
And now we have hogs v dogs this AM to insure domestic harmony.
Sheesh.
