Jeff, I'm a little jealous of you getting to drive your toy Ford. Maybe this winter I can get to Ms Dent at some point.

Evening All!

Now my left shoulder is jacked up. Dang it! I may have to make a doctor's appointment. I don't have time for this stuff. I need to get this place ready to go by next Wednesday. ...then I have to have my shop sorta' put together so I can get back to work.

jeff... it is ok to use my name while it is running.. but if it blows up then i will deny ever seeing the truck before...... ha ha ha ha

i spent a whole day doing about a hours worth of work.. took me 2 hrs to make a alt. bracket that should of been done in 10 minutes.... then even with 4 engine stands 6+ engine rolling dollies and 2 engine hoists in the shop it still took me a hour of wrestling blocks, moving engines and just generally fighting with everything.....

just to get a engine bolted onto rolling dolly to start it up on.. ha ha ha ha ha ... but i guess if it were easy then everyone would be doing it..
but it does look good for a 50 year old engine..

Building and standing up a stud wall is not that hard. So you just want to close in the end of your carport?

Jeff you should be able to frame that in to fit what ever dimensions you want and get Overhead Doors to put one in the space in a couple of hours.

But...a typical garage door (roll up type) will block your lights.

Make sure the carport is level and go from there. Most all farm and ranch stores have shop style sliding door tracks and rollers.

Evening all.

It's turning out to be another freaking insane week. Out of my 40 hour work week, I'm only going to manage 13 of those in the office. If anyone asks me why something hasn't been done yet, they might not like the answer. Sheesh...

Chip - Careful what you wish for. Sometimes the fix is worse than the problem. Just remind yourself that it WILL get better once the docs are done. No chance of that happening if you do nothing.

Rich - If I remember right, I had to be careful how I moved for a couple of months after surgery. If I overdid those muscles too much, they did not hesitate to remind about it.

Alan - Make sure you take care of that back. I'm sure everyone and their brother has told you to take it easy, so I will forgo mentioning it. I hope all goes well with the Dr.
