Yeah I stayed here.. Always have plenty of candles and flashlights on hand..

We got caught once with our pants down. One flashlight, not enough batteries and no candles. Was during the Summer so we had extended light.

I think I have about 3 boxes of candles in the kitchen for that purpose.. I carry 3 Maglights in the truck and I have 2 in the house..
Plus a few other mini flashlights

We now have 6 LED lanterns and a box of batteries for them
Lot of candles in the cabinet.

I think what got Don rolled through here first. Sunday MOnday we had about 3" of rain and winds 20 -30 mph with gust pushing 60.

I could get both vehicles out of the garage Could have gone to Lowe's or the hardware store.

Sounds like beating up Don it didn't have enough energy to keep going.

I don't know where it came from, but don't want it again..
The wind was whipping around and I thought the clapboards where getting ripped off the house

I haven't heard yet, but I know it was the worst I have experienced ..
A winter Nor'easter isn't as bad as this storm

Did it sound like a train hauling **** down the tracks?
