Just wondering how the five star threads are generated? Over the many years on here I've seen a few 2 or 3 star threads. Most are hundreds of pages, while some are just a few pages in length. Is it the REP thing or some other magical computer generated complex calculation?
Stars? I don't see stars anywhere (well, not since I got over that hangover after my sister's wedding, but that's another story....). Do they show up on the list of threads in a given section?
It's under the rating tab where the paper clips show up if the thread has any attachments. Have done a lot of REPS but never voted on anything. Go figure.
If you like a thread or it's really helpful, then you can rate it at the top of the page (or you can give it a negative rating if it has bad information)...
