5th wheel hitch prep ?
OK, I am having one hell of a time finding my truck. I want a F350 CCLB SRW Lariat with LED's, Adaptive Cruise and the Tow Technology bundle. It seems every truck out there in this config, in Nor Cal, has the 5th wheel prep package. I have no intention of ever owning a 5th wheel, nor towing one. I prefer to not have this on my truck, mostly because I don't want the holes in the bed and the raised humps where the pucks are. I will be running a camper shell most of the time and am concerned about dust and moisture coming in through the holes. Is there a better way to seal off the holes than the crappy plastic covers Ford gives you with the truck? I will put a bed mat in the truck, but it won't prevent intrusion of the elements. Thanks

Don't sweat it. They seal just fine. Oh, and the 5th wheel & goosneck prep package increase resale and it will keep anyone looking for a hauler from walking away because you DON'T have one ...
